Starting with your Cherokee, the Prodigy P3 trailer brake controller # 90195 is an excellent choice. This is a superb controller both for performance and reliability.

In your 4-pole equipped Jeep vehicle you will hard wire the P3 using the # ETBC7 installation kit. These two items will provide a complete 7-way wiring setup that will generate and deliver trailer brake power to the 7-way socket included in the kit along with all of the required trailer lighting signals. I linked both a helpful article and an installation video to assist.

As for the trailer side, I also linked for you an article that provides an overview of all considerations for adding electric drum brakes to a trailer. Since you already have 4-bolt brake flanges you do not need to add these.

I recommend 3500-lb-rated self-adjusting brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA which will fit your flanges and your 14-inch wheels. You can use Mounting Hardware kit # BRKH10B.

You will need 10 x 2-1/4-inch hub/drums that use the same bearings as your existing hubs. The new hub/drums have to use the same bearings in order for them to fit properly on your spindles. You will want to pull one hub and take note of the inner and outer bearing part numbers. The most common bearings in hubs for 3500-lb axles are inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649. The grease seal used with these bearings is usually # 58846. Once you know your bearing and seals parts you can choose a 10-inch hub/drum to match; in this instance I suggest # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K.

A trailer wiring junction box # HS381-9000 that you mentioned will be needed for the trailer for connection of the lights and electric brakes and the breakaway kit # 20400 will complete the setup.

Do please note that since the trailer is aluminum (which does make for a great ground connection) you may also need to run individual ground wires from each light and brake directly to the junction box's ground terminal. You can use wire # 10-1-1.
