Recommended Skid Wheels for 2008 Holiday Rambler Augusta

Question:

Presently there are 10 inch steel triangles bolted to the frame. On steep inclines these tear up the pavement as they drag. would you suggest the use of 4-5-6 inch wheels mounted to the hitch cross member? Thank you

The correct skid wheels for you will depend on the hitch tube diameter on your 2008 Holiday Rambler Augusta Motorhome. The Ultra-Fab Rotating, Hitch Mounted Skid Wheels # UF48-979014 are 4" in diameter, will bolt on, and work with motorhomes that are up to 30' long and have 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square hitch tubes.

Another option is the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels for Class C RVs up to 34' Long # UF48-979012 which are 5" in diameter and has brackets which weld onto the motorhome's frame before bolting the skid wheels to the brackets. These wheels hang below the frame 6-7/16".
