For the naked roof of your 2009 Subaru Forester I really like the Thule Aeroblade Edge roof rack part numbers # TH7602B-TH7602B and # THKIT3079. This fits the factory fixed points you have on your roof and also give you the most aerodynamic crossbar shape to help cut down on wind noise and minimize fuel mileage loss. The flush bar design (bars don't go past the feet) also help with both of these things too. Plus gives an OE style look too.
