Will a standard Reese 5th wheel hitch lock on the under bed rails

In order to use a standard above bed 5th wheel hitch with an under bed rail kit you are going to need to use an adapter. The correct adapter if available will depend on which under bed rail kit you have. For example, if you have the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit part # RP30073 which is a fit for a 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 then you are going to need to use the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter part # RP30156. This adapter would then allow you to use any 5th wheel hitch that mounts using industry standard above bed rails.
If you have a different under bed rail kit then please let me know what that kit is and I would be glad to see if we have an adapter that will allow you to use a 5th wheel hitch that mounts using industry standard above bed rails. I have attached a review video on the above adapter for you as well.
