Parts Needed to Add a 7-Way Trailer Connector to a 2008 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Does this wiring for the 2008 Tundra also fit the 2008 Tacoma or do you have the package for the 2008 Tacoma?

If the 2008 Toyota Tacoma came with a factory 7-Way wiring harness, there is no replacement 7-Way available. If it came with a 4-Way wiring harness, you can use # 37185. You will need to hardwire the remaining 4 wires. White grounds to the trailer frame, blue connects to the blue wire of a brake controller, black goes to the positive battery terminal via a 40 amp circuit breaker, # PK54540, and the last wire connects to the reverse light circuit. Or use # ETBC7 which comes with everything you will need.
If the truck does not have any trailer wiring, you will first need to add a 4-Way, # 118496, and then use the 4 and 7 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, to add a 7-Way. I have included links to an FAQ article and a video that explain how to install an ETBC7.
