Can an DC Winch Work with AC Power Plug in the Back of a Honda Ridgeline
Question:
I have a Honda Ridgeline that has a 110 Volt plug in in the bed of the truck. Can this winch be wired with a 110 plug instead of direct wired?

There are AC powered winches available but Dutton-Lainson winch # DL25215 cannot be wired to work with AC power. The AC powered winches though do not go up to 9,000 pounds and require 115 volt or 120 volt depending on the winch model.
Your best option is to set your Ridgeline up with a DC winch and use the vehicle battery to power it. ComeUp winch # CU856333 is rated at 9,000 pounds. You could mount it to hitch receiver mount # BDW20155. And to wire it to the truck battery you can use wiring # BDW20348. I have linked a help article on wiring an electric winch for you.
