Will the Stromberg Carlson Tray Part # CC-255 Work with an Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System

Question:

Thank you for emailing back to me. I have other question about the hitch tongue weight. The max is 530 lbs and I did calculated all the weight Tongue Weight was about 405 lbs including tray generator and gas tank 1 gallon). It looked like the tray is compatiable. But if you see the pictures of the base triangle that I wasn't sure to install by myself. I would remove the black tube behind the propane if the tray block. Please advice. Thank you.

No, the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier part # CC-255 would not interfere with the frame brackets on any of the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems. The reason for this is because of its wide range of adjustability. The Equal-i-zer system's frame brackets will install 27" - 32" back from center of coupler whereas the Stromberg Carlson bracket's can install anywhere on the a-frame where the rails are between 12" - 52" apart. There may be some adjusting or rearranging of propane tanks but nonetheless should work well for you.

I have attached a photo of the tray installed with the frame brackets of a similar weight distribution system left on to give you better idea of what I mean by the above.

You would indeed need to remove your sewer hose carrier from the tongue of the a-frame in order to mount the Stromberg Carlson Tray Part # CC-255. The tray would then sit over the propane tanks and the forward attachment point would mount in front of the battery box.
