Brake Controller Harness Connection Port Location on a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT
Question:
I have a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT I need to know the location of the factory harness to plug in the Brake controller.

Expert Reply:
If your 2006 Lincoln Mark LT is equipped with a factory 4-Way or 7-Way trailer wiring then the location of the brake controller connection port will be underneath the dash, left of the steering column, near the emergency brake pedal, or above the diagnostic port under the dash, see video link. This is where you would install the # 3035-P wiring harness adapter.
If your Mark LT did not come with factory trailer wiring then you will need to hard wire the P3 brake controller, # 90195. The Brake Controller Installation Kit, # ETBC7, will be needed, along with a working 4-Way connector, # 18252, if your vehicle does not already have one. I have provided a link to instructions, for this kit, for you to review and a video installation that should be helpful if your vehicle requires hard wiring.
