Performance Chip Recommendation for 2002 Ford F-250 With V10
Question:
f250 super duty v10 - What would be the benefits of this? My shift points seem a little akward for pulling a fifth wheel. Not sure when to engage and disengage the overdrive, Usually my transmission shifts to a higher gear sooner than I whould like when towing. Obviously I am looking for better mileage when not towing, I didnt see any review on this particular engine. I am looking for a little more power.

It sounds like you are looking for a performance tuner, and to get the benefits you are looking on your 2002 Ford F-250 with a 6.8L V10 engine I recommend checking out the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner # EP16040 or, if you live in California, part # EP86040.
This tuner will give you up to 25 more horsepower and 49 more foot/lb torque.
Additionally, the EvoHT2 has pre-set tunes for light towing, heavy towing and fuel mileage. You can also customize your tune to allow for automatic transmission shift points and shift pressure like you wanted.
The Edge EvoHT2 # EP16040 also gives you the ability to log your vehicle's data so you can try different tunes and find the one that works best for how you drive. It comes with a 2.8" hand-held monitor and is made in the USA.
