Will RoadActive Suspension Kit Reduce Sag in 2017 GMC Sierra 2500?
Question:
Can’t use lower hitch because clearance between trailer and truck bed rails is only 5 inches now. Trailer lift kit appears only option to get trailer close to level if use RAS. But concerned that lift kit will increase sway problem in wind. So may cancel out the sway improvement from the RAS. Would I get any sway improvement if I added both the RAS and lift kit?

Though there is not a specific number I can offer, what I can tell you is that the Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit # RAS3611-HD is designed to level your 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 under a maximum 3,000 lb load. So what will happen is you will no longer experience the 1" of sag you said you were encountering, though your trailer will ride an inch higher in front.
This is going to be true regardless of the suspension enhancement though there may be a solution. If you haven't already, unbolt your pin box and use a higher set of mounting holes so the trailer no longer rides a couple inches higher than level. Doing so will ensure your trailer is level AND you can use the Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit # RAS3611-HD to make sure your Sierra is stable in high winds.

Trailer has 16k Reese Revolution pin box. Appears to have two height settings. Bolts are in lowest holes which puts the pin box as high as possible relative to trailer frame. Trailer also has Dexter Torsion axles. Are these adjustable for height?
