For an electric over hydraulic actuator that you can use with the factory brake controller on your 2008 Ford F-450, I recommend taking a look at the HydraStar # HBA-10 if you have drum brakes or # HBA16 if you have disc brakes.

The integrated brake controller on your 2008 F-450 is not itself compatible with electric over hydraulic actuators, but with this particular actuator, you just need to add the Adapter Module # HBA-CAM and you will be good to go. This adapter will allow you to use the integrated controller with the HydraStar actuator by intercepting verification signals to prevent false error codes and making the two systems compatible with each other.
