For your 2007 Toyota Avalon, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11427 is a great choice. When used with ball mount # C45022 and hitch ball # 19258 the U-Haul trailer will work. For your wiring, I recommend the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit with 4-Pole Connector (Includes Tester) # 119178KIT. I've attached a video to assist.
This combination will allow you to haul a trailer up to 2,000 lbs max when fully loaded.
