Will Reverse Lockout Solenoid Work When Reversing Truck Uphill
Question:
Will the reverse lockout solenoid work when putting my truck in reverse on a hill? I need to be able to backup uphill

When using a product such as the Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts # T4748800 or Demco Solenoid Kit for Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts # DM5404 the trailer brakes do not activate when you shift your tow vehicle into reverse, therefore allowing you to back up a hill or curbs. Even with this solenoid, we recommend reversing up the hill slowly and carefully.
We recommend using a solenoid shield, like part # T4836100183, to provide protection to the valve itself.
