Should 1 Sway Bar or 2 Sway Bars be Used for a 29 Toy Hauler

Question:

I have a 29ft toy hauler that is about 34ft in overall length. I currently have an EZ lift weight distribution setup with 1 Reece friction sway bar. I would like to know if you recommend 1 sway bar or 2 for this size of trailer?

For any trailer that is over 26 feet long a second friction sway control bar is recommended. To add a second control bar you need to use the Sway Control Tab (Weld On) # 3442 as well as the Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660.

The friction sway control units do help with trailer sway but are more of the economical option. I recommend using a weight distribution unit that has the anti-sway feature integrated so that you can back up your trailer without having to disconnect anything.

If you let me know what the tongue weight is of your loaded trailer as well as the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle (loaded as if you are ready to go) I can make a recommendation for you.
