Fuses Keep Popping on 2000 Honda Shadow Ace Tourer When Using the Hopkins # HM46155 to Tow Trailer
Question:
I have a 2000 Honda Shadow Ace Tourer and I want to wire up a trailer kit to pull a trailer. The trailer that I have has all LED lights, and my motorcycle has incandescent bulbs. I tryed the hopkins 46155 kit, but everytime I plug led trailer to converter kit, it pops fuses. Y is this happening, and can u tell me what trailer light kit I need for this setup to work properly?

Your fuses keep popping on your 2000 Honda Shadow Ace Tourer because the trailer is drawing too much power on those wiring circuits. What you need to install is the Curt # C59236 which is like the Hopkins # HM46155 that you installed except the Curt draws power directly from the battery.
The wires that connect to your light circuits just tell the unit when to send signals to which circuits. Since it is drawing power directly from your battery it will not overload the circuits on your Honda Shadow.
