Running and Mounting a Trailer Wiring Harness to the Outside of a 2004 Honda Element
Question:
I want to install a bumper/towbar trailer plug in on my 2004 Honda Element. Im tired of the dangling 4 pin connector approach. Will this product created the clean, plug in solution I would like to have?

There may be a way to have an exterior mounted trailer wiring harness for your 2004 Honda Element but # HM11143910 is not a fit. What you can do is look for a grommet in the rear cargo area that you can route the wiring through. You will need to pull up the flooring to get to the bare metal of the cargo area. If there is no grommet you would have to drill a hole in the floor, careful of what is on the opposite side of where you are drilling, route the wiring through, then seal up the hole with silicone.
If you do that you can route the 4-Way such as # 118336 under the vehicle. Then to add a 7-Way and keep the 4-Way you would need # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
