I do have options for you but there is not a sliding base that will work with the head on the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30033. Therefore no, the Reese Square Tube Slider part # RP30048 cannot be used with the above 5th wheel hitch.

If you need a sliding 5th wheel hitch then I recommend the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30075. This is a sliding 5th wheel hitch with a 16,000 lb towing capacity. It has a single-piece locking jaw with 4-way adjustable head. I have attached a review video of this hitch for you as well. If you do not already have a set of industry standard base rails installed on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 then you can use part # RP56001-53.

The other option you have that would allow you to still use your existing hitch is if you add a Sidewinder. In order to find the correct Sidewinder I would need to know the make and model number of your existing pin box. The make and model number should be placed on a tag located on the pin box itself or on the mounting brackets. For example, the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # RP61412 is a direct replacement for the following pin boxes:

Fabex 500, 503, 520, 530, 560, 730 and 765
Lippert 1116, 1716 and 0115
RBW 7019 and 7028

If you cannot locate the make and model number then you can use the attached help article which will guide you through how to measure it for replacement.
