Rear Anti-Sway Bar and U-Bolt Replacement Kit Installation on a 2017 Canyon Star on F-53 Chassis
Question:
I have a 2017 3513 Canyon star F53 v10. I want to add rear sway bar 1139-149. The stock u-bolts are only 18 1/4 not enough thread showing. Once loosened will they come out and reinstall without lifting the frame or axle. and will rm-590050-10 be the correct part? Thank you

The rear anti-sway bar # RM-1139-149 will fit the V10 Ford F-53 chassis if the gross vehicle weight rating is 22K, 24K, or 26K. Based on your description you will need # RM-590050-00 u-bolt replacement kit. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.
It is a good idea to lift the RV and then use jack stands to support just the axle. With the vehicle supported elsewhere and the axle supported by jack stands it is less likely for the vehicle to "slip" off the axle at the back. I have linked another video showing an example install of the u-bolt kit.
