Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2016 VW Golf TDI for Ease of Install  

Question:

I got the recommendation of using The EcoHitch hitch part # 306-X7310 for my 2016 TDI golf but I saw some comments about it being a bit cumbersome in terms of installing it. Is there another option easier to install or less intrusive? I saw the video and it seems really simple to install would it fit my TDI golf? does it have more/ less quality?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11412 is a little easier to install than the EcoHitch # 306-X7310 on your 2016 VW Golf TDI. It is the easiest installation of the compatible hitches, and the quality is the same. If you are using it for a bike rack or other accessory, Curt's warranty will require use of the stability strap # 18050. That really is the biggest difference.
