Safety Chains with Clevis Hooks and Quick Links for an 8,700 Pound Trailer
Question:
I need a set of safety chains, clevis hooks and quick links for a pull behind camper that weighs 8700 lbs fully loaded and has a tongue weight of 950 lbs. Each of the two chains, not including the clevis hooks or quick links, need to be at least 28” long. I would like all of the items to be very resistant to rust and corrosion. Would you please make recommendations regarding your best options for this? Thank you.

How about 2 of Draw-Tite Chain # 63451 and 2 of Safety Chain Quick Link # C82932. The chains are 42 inches long overall and rated for 26,400 pounds with a zinc coating to resist corrosion. The quick links have a break strength of 10,000 pounds. Based on what you are looking for this is going to be the best option.
