Draw Tite Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2010 Chevy Camaro
Question:
My 1-1/4 receiver is only 8 inches off the ground. Is this carrier going to work ok, or is this too low? Seems like the back end would hit the ground in some situations. What can you recommend to give it a rise of a few inches?

Expert Reply:
Considering how low to the ground the hitch opening is on your 2010 Chevy Camaro I would recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch Cargo Carrier # 6500 as it has an angled shank that raises the platform an additional 3 inches above the hitch opening.
I attached installation instructions for you to check out for this product also.
