Best Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps for a Boat Trailer
Question:
Boat tie down straps. Mine keep getting loose on 16 ft fishing boat. I need 25inch end to end when closed. I have 2inch wide now. But there are so many listed. Where do I start?

In order to secure your 16' fishing boat to the trailer, I recommend using the BoatBuckle G2 Ratcheting Transom Tie-Down Straps part # IMF14221. These straps have a vinyl-coated hook that is designed to attach atop the gunwale of your boat. They have a ratcheting mechanism which will cut down time and slack. They are 38" long and have a 833 lb safe load limit. If you already have anchor points on the boat then you can use the BoatBuckle G2 Ratcheting Transom Tie-Down Straps part # IMF08893 instead.
We also have mounting brackets for the above tie downs if needed for which you can use the Mounting Brackets for BoatBuckle G2 Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps part # IMF14254. I have attached a review video on both sets of tie downs for you as well.
