Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Fits for 2017 and 2018 Honda Pilot
Question:
Is there any mounting difference between the 2017 Pilot mounting shown in your video versus a 2018 TOURING EDITION Pilot? I like your video and it makes things very simple for me. Therefore, which part numbers for hitch and harness should I order? Thanks and anxious to purchase this to pull our motorcycle trailer . . .

The 2-inch Class III hitch fits for the 2017 and 2018 Honda Pilot are the same; the Touring Edition package has no bearing on hitch fits. There are two options, part # e98840 from etrailer and part # C13146 from Curt. Both hitches use the same mounting points on both model years' frames. Between the two I suggest the etrailer which is shown in the linked installation video.
Wiring harness fits are also the same for both vehicles. If you need a 4-pole type harness I suggest the Tekonsha # 118760; if you need a 7-way type harness use # 118286. These are for the Pilot without the tow package. If you have the tow package then instead use # 118274.
