Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2008 GMC Sierra Towing Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

I recently purchased the BandW companion, I own a Jayco 5th wheel. I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.5 bed right now I have the hitch in position 1 with the kingpin 3inch behind post. 5th wheel looks like its setting to far back and truck is sagging a lot. is there another position I could try to take more weight off the rear? any help would be appreciated

The position of the Companion hitch head won't make a huge difference for the amount of sag you are experiencing but suspension enhancement for your truck will though. The Timbren kit part # TGMRCK25S is a confirmed fit and will work well to reduce the sag you are experiencing. It basically beefs up the rear suspension which will allow your trailer to sit level.

I attached an install video for this kit for you to check out as well.
