For your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo I recommend going with one of our Draw-Tite trailer hitches. We have part # 75699 which has a concealed crosstube and fits non-diesel models, and part # 75713 which looks more like a traditional trailer hitch with the crosstube exposed and fits diesel models.
Attached is a sample installation video as well as the installation details. If you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations if necessary.
