If this is the case then for your 2016 GMC Sierra 1500, I recommend the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug part # 50-97-410 which is a direct fit and will work well for you. The cable as you requested is 9' long. If you need help with installation then you can refer to the attached video.
Please note that you may need to add a fuse or relay (not included) to complete all of the functions going to the 7-way. Consult your owner's manual for locations.
