Trailer Hitch Receiver Confirmed to Fit a 2015 Audi SQ5

Question:

looking for a direct fit 2inch receiver hitch for my 2015 Audi SQ5 It would be used for pulling a 10foot trailer loaded might weigh up to 4000 lbs and also a 4 bike bike rack Ive seen different images of possible hitches and think the one you offer - P/N 75940 looks correct but there is also the response you made to another customer that the Curt C13136 fits their SQ5 and if you look at how the two would mount to the vehicle, their night and day different. With that, which is the right one? Thanks

The Curt # C13136 is for the Audi Q5 but isn't a fit for the SQ5 like you have. You're correct that the Draw-Tite, part # 75940, is what you need. It's confirmed to fit your 2015 Audi SQ5. I've attached a picture that a customer submitted of the htich on an SQ5 for you. I've also linked an install video on a Q5 but the process is same.

The wiring I recommend is part # 119250KIT. I've linked a video of this install on a different Audi model but keep in mind it's a universal part, so it won't be the exact same process. You'll need to test the wires of your Audi to find the correct circuits. The # 119250KIT includes a circuit tester and installs without splicing into your current wiring.

If you're going to be towing the trailer and carrying the bikes at the same time I recommend the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount, part # D210. You need a hitch ball with a 1 inch diameter shank; Use # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch, # 63845 for a 2 inch, or # 63847 for a 2-5/16 inch. If you're not carrying the bikes while towing then you can use a standard ball mount and matching hitch ball. I've linked our selection of ball mounts to fit a 2 inch receiver as well as an article to help you determine the proper rise or drop you need with your trailer.

I've also linked some other helpful articles on installing the hitch and towing.
