You really want to replace broken leaf springs in pairs. Since you have a tandem axle trailer and some leaf springs will just sit higher than others your best solution would be to do all of them at once.
We have three 3,500 lb rated leaf springs that could work well for you. We have the part # e54SR which is 25-1/8 inches long, part # SP-210275 which is 27 inches long, and part # e59SR which is 23-1/8 inches long.
Adding brakes to the axle would not be hard either. For a hub and drum assembly we have part # AKHD-545-35-K for a standard spindle or part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K for an EZ lube spindle. These hubs use Inner Bearing # L68149, Outer Bearing # L44649, and Grease Seal # 58846 which has a 1.719" inner diameter which is standard for 3,500 lb axle.
The matching brake kit that you will need is part # AKEBRK-35-SA. These are self-adjusting brakes which means that you will only need to adjust them one time and then you are set.
The rest of your brake setup is the wiring side of things. To make this easier I recommend using a junction box like what is found in the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit # HS381-9000. The box is labeled so you will just need to install your existing wiring to the proper studs and then run 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 from the brake stud back to your brakes. I recommend using heat shrink butt connectors like part # DW05745-5 to make your wiring connections more resistant to water.
