Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Bike Rack for 2018 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
I have a 2018 crosstrek and I want to put a hitch and bike rack on it! Looking at the information here I thought the Curt C13382 and Thule T2 pro 2inch or Thule T2 classic 2inch would work great do I need the stabilizing straps with the platform rack and how do they work? Since its a hatch not sure I want to attach it to the back window! I like that the hitch is its virtually invisible just the receiver! I find the Ecohitch a bit on the expensive side!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13382 is a custom fit option for your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek that has a measurement of 2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the bumper. It will work great with the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH69TXor the T2 Pro # TH83JV.
You will not need the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap # 18050 for your vehicle and I personally wouldn't want to use it when it isn't required for the warranty. It does provide additional stability, but it would connect over your back hatch.
