Complete Towing Package for a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid
Question:
Will the #24865 hitch and the #118422 wiring harness fit my 2010 ford fusion Hybrid ? Also do I need to obtain the drawbar, hitch pin, and trailer ball separately ?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch, # 24865, and the Tow Ready, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118422, will fit all styles of the 2011 Ford Fusion, including the hybrid model. We have a video of this hitch being installed on a 2011 For Fusion Hybrid and a video of the wiring harness being installed on a 2010 Fusion which should be very similar to your 2011 model.
The ball mount is separate, you will need the Draw-Tite Ball Mount, # 3594, which includes a pin and clip. A properly sized hitch ball is also needed, and either the 1-7/8 inch hitch ball , # 19256, or the 2 inch hitch ball # 19258, should be correct for your trailer coupler.
You may also want to consider a hitch lock to secure the drawbar to the trailer hitch. Our etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, # e98879, would work great with the # 24865 hitch and # 3594 drawbar.
