Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2018 Kia Sportage

Will the C13281 fit on a 2018 Kia Sportage SX, all comments are on the 2017 Sportage.

Yes. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13281 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Kia Sportage SX. It is a confirmed fit for all trim models. I've attached a video of this installation for you.
If you will be using this hitch for an accessory like a bike rack, Curt's warranty also requires the support strap # 18050.
If you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend the wiring harness # 118698. This T-One connector will mate with your factory harness behind the tail lights on each side and then you will run the power wire directly to your battery. This power wire will provide the power needed to the harness ModuLite and will protect your vehicle electronics from overload. The wiring will be stored under the bumper, so I recommend mounting bracket # 18144 along with # 18140.
For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS10038B. This will give you two hitch ball options and the ability to adjust the height in order to tow level. This ball mount has a nice stowable feature when not in use to give you a clean look as well as protect your shins when loading cargo. I also recommend hitch lock # BX8858 to secure your investment.
