Rhino-Rack Roof Rack to Fit a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude

Question:

Will the rhino roof rack system fit a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude? It currently has factory flush mounted bars that run up and down the jeep on both sides. Im trying to put a system to hold a kayak and need the crossbars and dont want to spend a minor fortune on them.

The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude does have factory flush rails on its roof however they're not the flush rails with tracks inside them to attach crossbars to. At least not normally. If yours has the chrome piece shown in the attached picture let me know.

There is a Rhino-Rack system that fits your Jeep, however. You need the 54 inch bars # RRVA137B-2, legs # RRRLKVA, and fit kit # DK234.

This kit doesn't use the black strip on your roof. Instead it clamps around the door jambs like you have a naked roof.
