Are the heads on all companion hitches interchangeable? I have a flat bed hitch right now, but bought a new truck and need the bigger base.

The heads on all of the B&W Companion hitches are indeed the same and thus interchangeable among the different bases. So swap in confidence!

I spoke with my contact over at B&W and found that the Patriot head #BWRVC3200 and the Companion head, #BWRVC3006, are NOT interchangeable. They will not fit each other's bases/legs.

Functionally they are the same as they have the same jaw design, but they do attach differently so they are not interchangeable. The Patriot head replacement is the part #BWRVC3200 and the Companion head replacement is #BWRVC3006.
