Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for a 2015 BMW 4-Series Convertible

Question:

Can you please confirm that the Curt Hitch #C11367 will work with my X drive BMW 435i convertible? I would like to use a bike rack for 2 bikes. Also, how would the support strap affect the ability to put the convertible top up and down while the bike rack is in use? thanks for your help.

Curt trailer hitch # C11367 is a fit for your 2015 BMW 4-series convertible. This is a Class I trailer hitch so you will need a bike rack that is compatible with a Class I hitch. I recommend the Swagman Trailhead # S63365 because it weighs under 30 pounds so it is easy to handle and won't put excessive stress on the hitch when loaded with bikes. And because it holds the bikes at the wheels it is compatible with many bike styles.

The support strap # 18050 can attach to the vehicle anywhere that it can go as long as it is on there. So you could attach it somewhere else at the back of the vehicle allowing you to raise and lower the convertible top without having to remove the strap every time.
