Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Says Brakes Applied Intermittently When Brakes are Released
Question:
On my 08 silverado half the time when I take my foot off the brake the light on my brake controller stays on. I dont think its a bad conention because it also effects the cruise control.. what do you think it is?

Sounds like you are shorting out the stoplight circuit of the controller to the 12 volt power supply wire. Otherwords the red wire of the controller is shorting out to the black wire. Check to make sure these wires are properly insulated.
