How to Determine if the Rooftop Bike Carrier S64720 will work on a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer

Will the swagman roof top bike carrier s64720 work on a 2006 chevy trailblazer with a factory roof rack? The cross bars are angled forward, so I dont know if the ubolts will be able to be tightened down

The Swagman Rooftop Bike Carrier, item # S64720, may work on your trailblazer, but it is a universal design and has not been tested to work with the angled cross bars on your vehicle.

You would need to measure to determine if the 3-1/8 inches wide and 1-7/8 inches tall U-Bolts will be sufficient to span the width of the cross bars, and go through the rail far enough to allow the rack to be secured to the cross bars with the cross bars at an angle. A good way to do this would be to lay a flat item, like a yard stick, across the cross bars and then measure from the bottom of the yard stick to the lowest point of each cross bar where you would like to install the bike carrier.
