Installation of Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller in 2018 Lexus GX
Question:
I recently purchased a 2018 Lexus GX SUV. I have a Tekonsha Prodigy 3 brake controller and Im attempting to find a wiring adapter to go from the Lexus stock wiring under the dash to the Tekonsha brake controller. Any help would be appreciated.

For your 2018 Lexus GX there is not a brake control harness available. This vehicle needs to be hard wired for a brake controller. Your Prodigy P3 # 90195 will still work well, you will just need the wiring, connectors, and circuit breakers for proper fit. I recommend using # 5506 if you already have a factory 7-way, or # ETBC7 if you do not. I've attached some videos to assist as well as an article on the ETBC7 kit.
