2018 Jeep Wrangler JL

Question:

It looks like it would be tough to get this on a 2018 Wrangler JL spare tire due to the brake light and windshield wiper giving very little room to mount the top bar around the spare tire. Have you tested this? It is listed as compatible on your site. I dont know how much flex the brake light has to slide the mount between it and the spare tire.

We did do an install of the Malone RunWay 3 Bike Spare Tire Rack # MPG2148 on a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited and that is shown in the video I linked for you, but we have not yet had a 2018 JL Wrangler Unlimited here to allow producing a video for that model.

I contacted Malone to ask about the fit of this rack on the 2018 JL. The responded that it fits a tire width up to a 265 size, meaning a tire that is 265 millimeters wide.
