Recommended Cable Chains For Tire Size 235/45-19
Question:
I purchased a pair of cable chains from you folks for my Ford Edge. I now own a Ford Escape with the following tires P235/45 R19. The web site says that the #2029C cable chains will fit the 2014 Ford Escape, but I did not see the tire size listed. Will these work on those tires?

Expert Reply:
In this case, tire size will trump vehicle fit, because # PW2029C isn't confirmed to fit your Escape, because they're a fit if the Escape has the size 235/55-17 size tires. As a result, the recommended tire chains for your Escape is the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains # PW1042. You will also need Glacier Rubber Adjusters # PW99 because these rubber adjusters make it easy to fit and tighten your truck's snow chains in no time. It can be used with any type of Glacier chain.
I have linked all of the tire chains that will fit a P235/45 R19 tire.
