Hitch Recommendation for 2008 Ford Super Duty With Utility Bed

Question:

I have a 2008 f350 súper duty with a 9 foot utility bed, can you recommend a hitch? I went to a igual store but the hitch they had was for a 8 foot bed which placed the hitch too far under and bwhind the bumper

For vehicles with utility beds we aren't going to have a custom fit hitch available but we have a universal fit hitch that would work well. It will require a more in-depth install though.

I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a service body truck like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916.
