This weight distribution hitch # C17062 is a great value and will work with your 2014 Dodge Durango. Just a heads up to be cognizant of your 2016 Jayco x23b's FULLY loaded trailer weight. I have attached an article on how to accurately measure tongue weight. This system can handle up to 1,000lbs in TW.

The above system is rated for 800-1000lbs TW. If you fully load your trailer to 5000lbs and you have 15 percent tongue weight you will be under 800 pounds. If we add what you will have behind the rear axle you will likely be with the range of the TW capacity. But here is another option if your trailer isn't loaded heavy or the tongue weight is less than 800lbs. The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA94-00-0800 has a tongue weight capacity up to 800lbs. It has similar features as the above hitch such as, sway control and adjustable shank. The recommended hitch ball for the Fastway system is # 63840. Also a 1-7/8" Thin walled socket # EQ70-00-4800 is recommended for hitch ball installation.

I have help articles tongue weight, towing tips and product videos attached to this help article.
