Does P3 Brake Controller Require Fuse Installation on a 2015 Honda Pilot
Question:
Hi, I watched the install video for the P2 but I have the P3. Do I need to install a fuse under the hood like with the P2? If so, what type of fuse and in what position? Thanks!

If your 2015 Honda Pilot came with the factory tow package that included a 7-Way trailer connector then the fuse for the brake controller may already be there. You can check ahead of time using the legend on the fuse panel lid. I checked the owner's manual and it is located in the sub fuse box in position 14. Check yours to confirm. The sub fuse box is the smaller one under the hood. Any brake controller is going to require a fuse or circuit breaker depending on the vehicle.
If your Honda Pilot does not have the factory tow package and 7-Way wiring harness then you would need to install # 118265.
