2017 Forester 2.5i Touring Thule Tire Chain Recommendation
Question:
Hi, I would like to use these on all 4 wheels, will this work with these chains on this car? Also what is recommended chain placement for this vehicle if using only two chains, front or rear? Thanks!

The Thule tire chains part # TH2004205104 fit both sizes we have listed for your 2017 Subaru Forester of 225/55-18 and 225/60-17. Ideally you run these on all four tires to give you the best possible traction for the stopping, turning, and accelerating.
If only one set of chains was to be used you'd want to install them on the front axle of your vehicle as that's the main drive axle. For further instructions and tire chain info you'd need to also check the owners manual of your vehicle as well.
