Yes, to install a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885, you will first need to have a 4-way present at the rear of your 2000 Chevy S10.
If you do not have a 4-way you would need a Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 118359. I attached installation instructions and an installation video for you to check out also.
Once installed you would need a Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit # ETBC7. This will convert the 4-way to a 7-way and allow you to install a brake controller and have it be functional. I attached installation instructions and a installation video for this product for you to check out also.
Now you will be ready to install the # 90885 into your vehicle. I attached installation instructions and a installation video for this product for you to check out also.
