Do the Wheels Need to Be Removed to Grease the Bearings on EZ Lube Axles
Question:
Hello I purchased 4 red line ez lube axles last year do I need to pull the wheels to grease these axles or does the grease come out the front like the dexter series

If you are referring to the TruRyde EZ Lube Spindles like part # TRU74FR then the grease (zerk) fittings are located on the end of the spindle. If you have hub caps that do not have an access hole and require removal to gain access to the hub/spindle then yes the wheels will need to be removed but in most cases, the pilot hole on the trailer wheel is open and all you need to do to access the zerk fitting is removed the grease cap on the hub. For a wheel bearing grease I recommend using LubriMatic Wheel Bearing Grease part # L11465.
