Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2012 Nissan Titan 4x4

What type of tranny cooler do you recommend for a 2012 Nissan Titan 4x4 Sv. I’m pulling a 30ft 8000 lbs camper. What would be the best way to install the Trans cooler

For your 2012 Nissan Titan I recommend Derale Transmission Cooler # D13614. This is a Class V cooler meaning that it is very efficient and will provide a large cooling capacity.
The best place to mount the cooler is right behind the grille/in front of the AC condenser core. It can get the most airflow in this position. The line from the transmission will go from the tranny to the factory cooler. From there it needs to go to the new supplemental cooler and then back to the transmission.
To find the return line the easiest way is to start the truck and shift into drive, park, reverse, park then shut off the truck. One of the transmission lines should now be warm to the touch and the other will not be as warm. The one that is cooler is the return line.
