Can the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75684 Tow a 1,900 lb Boat Trailer
Question:
All of the other questions mention towing a bike rack, etc. I am assuming that with a 3500 lb gross weight capacity, this hitch will be able to tow a 17 foot aluminum bass boat and trailer with a gross weight of about 1900 lbs?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75684, which fits your 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe if it doesn't have the dual exhaust, is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2" receiver. Since the Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) is 3,500 lbs and the Tongue Weight (TW) is 350 lbs it can easily tow your bass boat trailer that weighs about 1,900 lbs.
You do need to check the weight rating of your Santa Fe in your owner's manual as the trailer weight rating can range from 2,000 lbs - 3,500 lbs. If your model of the Santa Fe is only rated for 2,000 lbs then I would be hesitant to tow something that close to the max weight rating of your vehicle.
Trailer wiring like the Tekonsha T-One # 118258 and a ball mount kit like the Curt # C45036 is also needed to tow with your vehicle. I have attached a helpful article about choosing the correct ball mount as well as a link to our selection of ball mounts for you to filter through.
