Lippert SolidStep Compatibility with Hydraulic Arm for Screen Door Assembly

Question:

My doors hydraulic arm is located at the threshold and thus presents as issue in my estimation. Do you have any work around/comments that would give me confidence to buy this and install it myself?

The Lippert SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for RVs # LC791572 have a total extended length of just 44 inches so if your hydraulic arm for your door is relocated higher than that, you will have no issues with fit. I've attached a photo to assist.

If the hydraulic is at the bottom it would be an issue due to the mounting arm location for the raising and lowering of these steps. I recommend relocating it to the top of the door frame to give both the steps and the hydraulic arm for your screen door closing function.
