Solution for Using Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier at Rear Of RV with 1-1/4 inch Hitch
Question:
I have a 1.25” hitch on my RV with an adapter that converts it to 2” to hold a cargo carrier. I want to be able to hold a 16” spare tire. Will this roadmaster work with my configuration? Thanks.

Since hitch adapters like what you have generally aren't rated for RV use and best case scenario cut the tongue weight capacity of the hitch they are installed in by 50 percent I would not recommend the use of a Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Carrier part # RM-195225 with on.
Better solution would be to install a 2 inch hitch on the RV (if it has a 4 inch square bumper), with a hitch like the part # E-100.
