Will the Reese 20K Part # RP30081 Replace a Pro Series Part # PS30093
Question:
I received the answer to my question about replacing my Pro 15 hitch with the Titan 20 series hitch and being able to use the same installed rail system. I dont have to worry about the holes being in the wrong place for the new hitch? Is there anything I should be concerned about in ordering and using this new hitch with the existing rail system. I do have an 8foot bed. I just want to be absolutely sure everything is going to be safe for me to pull my 42inch camper. Thanks

The Reese 20K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part (Discontinued) RP30081 is a direct replacement for the Pro Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part (Discontinued) PS30093 you have now. If you were buying today the repalcement would be the Reese M5 Statoinary Hitch # RP30928. All of the holes will line up for installation. The only other thing I recommend for installation is a lock like part # TR63254. The rails you have in your truck bed now are an industry standard and work with a wide variety of 5th wheel hitches including the Reese 20K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch.
